I like it. I don’t wanna ever go back. I now know conclusively I can do more actual work in a day from home than I ever could going to work. Plus, I ditched all that bullshit “it’s not work but if it wasn’t for work I wouldn’t be doing it” time suck, like commuting, putting on ‘work’ attire, eating out, etc., so for

For the past 5 months no one’s been going out to eat or racking up bar tabs and we’re all still broke.

We’re in a pandemic, people aren’t dropping $200 at a bar right now, people are unemployed and begging the government for $600 a week so they can not get evicted. People who wouldn’t even notice if their bank accounts were $10,000 lighter should absolutely have their wealth redistributed so everyone can have basic

...wow, you're a fucking moron, huh?

Did you get paid for this or did you stupidly defend people who don’t care about you for free?

Speaking as a 35 year old with a 6-figure salary, I think these obscenely wealthy people are dangerous for society because their wealth creates a bull-in-a-china-shop situation. All that money and power attracts Yes-men who fill their heads with a grossly-distorted sense their own intelligence and morality which is

Nationalized health care can’t be fixed by one person.  It’s utterly deluded to think otherwise.  Rich people should be taxed more to pay for that.  Period.  Hard stop.

ok boomer

Well, of course Ellen was nice to you, Katy Perry, for you are ALSO rich and famous.  She doesn’t give two nutty turds about the poors and/or unknowns, especially if they work for her, because she thinks she owns them.

This pandemic has been awesome for us regular folks that get to witness how celebrity culture is crumbling right before us. Many of them aren't handling it all too well and with no help of a publicist the common sense goes out the window. How difficult is it not to say anything?

LOL a celebrity trying to go to bat for Ellen with “well she’s always been nice to me!”

I have to commend Jonathan Swan for how well he handled this. I watched it last night; I could not stomach all of it, but I did get through most of it.

Scientists who put big collars on any animal would prefer that they didn’t have to. If there were plenty of them and they had space to roam they wouldn’t need to put a burden on the population. Putting a collar or any device on an animal puts stress on that animals population and is always considered.

If someone is just now getting squeamish, they haven’t been paying attention. I say this as the owner of six Nest cameras. But this isn’t introducing anything new, really. If this bothers you, then the last 5ish years should already have bothered year.

By italicizing your puns, you’ve gone beyond #dadjokes into #grandpajokes territory.

Depends on how you want to frame his supposed ‘redemption’. I never saw his saving of Luke from the Emperor as a redemption. I mean, 5 minutes before he dumped Palps down the reactor he threatened Leia’s life. He wasn’t redeemed. He was a shitbag whose last decision happened to be a positive one. Had he lived and

You get a little sick of being the cannon fodder in a war you shouldn’t have to fight. It also takes up a lot of time.

Plain clothes, running up and snatching someone without clear establishment of what authority you are representing is not how we as Americans accept an arrest. This person was not a violent extremist or anything that would require a tactic of this level. Nor would would we arrest someone who did meet that level in

Fuck you.

Do you lick the boot or do you also suck on it too? Like whats your technique.

Also, the negative partisanship is the reason we have no empathy anymore...and when you can look at this an be like “cool” then our democracy is fucking dead.
