I just fixed my 85 cherokee. There’s a 3m headliner spray adhesive at most parts stores. Pull up half the material... Glue down. Let set. Pull up other side... Glue down. Reinstall. Took more time to remove than to fix.

If anyone else wants to make a similar mistake... 79 midget in Denver, runs fine interior is crap. Jalop price 300 or trade for ford 351c block or ford 4 speed toploader... I needed something bigger (I have a wife and son) so I bought a project ford falcon instead.
