counter-counterpoint option 45: Don’t care. I commute in traffic with a manual. I know what I’m doing so it’s just as convenient, plus those slow crawls and lurches forward to a stop are much easier than some automatics. Plus, that 1% when i’m not in traffic... more enjoyable.

I know at least one person whose vote swung trump because of his pro life views. He’s very religious, but also has no thoughts about abortion that didn’t come right from his pastors talking points. This will be a hard fight, because I know he’s not alone...

There’s still hope. Half of my bosses in the last decade were women. Several were quite young, all were terrific proffesionals who I was lucky to know.
