exactly. my first c10 (73) was about $650 (10 yrs ago) it was a county vehicle that didnt get much use due to the 2wd. had 80k miles. Since then I’ve had 2 4wd models (k10 and k15), $750 and $2k respectively. These aren’t expensive trucks.
I’d feel super conflicted about this if i was a player. Great opportunity, small intimate game, less pressure, able to chat openly with other professionals.... all tainted by the reason why...

+1, My step dad looked for about 2 months for his this winter. Ended up getting a 98 TJ, 4.0, manual, 101,000 for about 8k. Great paint, immaculate interior... broken track bar mount. An afternoon with the welder made it all better. Most the ones he found were wheeled way too hard.
