I love my Subaru. Have I mentioned it before? Are you sure I have? I better tell you about it anyways.

Last year we had the buckled roads that caused the SUV to launch and crash that got us on Jalopnik!
I live in Eau Claire. I should take a look at it this weekend!
Looks like the owner curbed one of the front wheels.
I didn't realize that. Most of the WRX and STi in my area are all hatchbacks, myself included. When I had my sedan, I was pretty much the only one.
I've found that more people in trucks try to race me than any other type of vehicle.
So many smiles per gallon though!
I'd like to see a comparison in the snow with proper tires on both. I have a feeling one would do much better than the other.
This makes me very happy! Can't wait to get my hands on one.
I agree. Now there is definitely no incentive for me to trade in my '11 STi for a '15. The launch edition one is growing on me, but why would I waste the money when I can just as easily blow up the new one?
Yes, it was just mispronounced.
I thought it looked wider, too. It really could just be that the blue color makes a difference, along with the larger, gold wheels filling the wheel well slightly better (the gold doesn't blend in as much). The photos make the wheels look like they have a lower offset, too.
Oops, double-post.
My guess is they just used the design of the existing CVT in the Forester XT.
If it's the same 2.5L that is currently out there, I doubt it will be putting out anymore power than it is now. Although, maybe moving away from unequal-length headers will be a big help.
Adding more weight over the rear wheels?
So the new WRX will have half a second slower 0-60 time than the previous generation (11+)? My guess is that this has to do with having a 6-speed now instead of the 5-speed. That puts it more on par with the STi for times, if I'm not mistaken.
Factory boost gauge.
I'm curious as to if they swap out those summer tires with something more winter-friendly. As an '11 STi owner in Wisconsin, I know those tires are completely useless once it gets cold and the snow falls.
I'd be pretty happy if they finally integrated some kind of notification light. Sometimes it's nice to have something subtle like that, instead of having the whole phone light up.
