Yup~ just not so much then, we grew up in the woods. :) I was a vegetarian for about 10 years.

My FAVORITE dish growing up was like this. Only instead of canned chili, we did ground beef with BBQ sauce and a layer of cheese. Still a family favorite.
Oh I’m sorry I was unclear, I meant the people who tweet at her, or spend a lot of time on social media in general.
Thanks! Our last two summers have been super dry, and I don’t think they have been divided in about 10 years. I may stop at the store and get some compost for them too. We’ve got a stupid big yard, and it feels a bit overwhelming :)
I often wonder how do people find so much time to spend on twitter? Maybe I’m an old? Also a newer house owner/fixer upper with a full time job. Like I hardly have time to put the laundry away and do the dishes, much less follow these things incessantly on twitter.
I think you may be missing my point. Victim blaming is a tool of power and control. Transgender people ought to have the right live and exist in a world where they are constantly oppressed. People outing them on purpose, etc.. are choosing to push them back into the closet and make them feel unsafe. The person took a…
I mean why should women leave the house if they might be raped? Why get a job if you might be sexually harassed? I just have a hard time with a sentence that starts “I hate to blame the victim.”
I mean he is actually willing to fuck with people’s lives in order to try and move a failed program over. Like actual American citizen’s lives. Like how much can he act like an awful monarch before his base turns against him? He is turning American lives into actual pawns.
Yes I don’t think ballet flats in general are very practical for long standing periods of time.
Dr Scholls? They are like 40 bucks for a basic black patent flat, and have some support?
Exactly! probably the same people who feel sorry for Melania. Sorry, I’m feeling extra catty this morning.
http://www.amightygirl.com/ A mighty girl is a great place to look for resources for raising kids and feminism. :) Which reminds me I need to get my nieces “The Paper Bag Princess” for their birthday.
I’m honestly sad about this. I was just getting to the point where I could afford to shop at Modcloth regularly, and now I’m so conflicted. There style doesn’t seem to be where it was a year or two ago. However, I love the pieces I have in my closet from them. I’m a plus sized woman, moreso than usual thanks to birth…
they are a little pricey, but the last for a long time. I also like the length options for shorts!
I shop at LLBean for bathing suits. They are Damn expensive, but I don’t hate all of the styles. Plus their fabric is getting cuter.
I’ve found myself going back to the archives and reading old stories about makeup and culture, just for a break from the relentless bad news. I’ve also been listening to old Last Week Tonight episodes on YouTube when I’m at work. I can only take so much bad news.
I mean really is anyone surprised? An old white boy next work is horrible to anyone who isn’t an old white boy? Sexism, racism, who knew? Honestly you can Serena Joy yourself as much as you want. At the end of the day they will still give you a shit sandwich and tell you to like it.
Does anyone else remember when George W Bush nominated Harriet Miers to the supreme court? Everyone was like, nope not qualified, lets move on! It is funny when you can look back on that administration as a simpler time.
Thanks! Hopefully my health insurance will be better soon, and I can spring for a Mirena! Although with this administration, who knows!
It is also a way to cut women out of the business and political worlds. My boyfriend works for a tech company and he has an awesome female CEO. How is she supposed to run a company if she can’t have one on one meetings with clients, and eat food like a human being?
