But the hardware is already set $250- which is reasonable, I'd say. If the software comes in at $40-50, I don't see that out of line with current handheld pricing.

Why does a portable game need to cost less? No less one that pretty much looks like a PS3 game, and may well be playable on your PS3? Just because the console is small, doesn't mean the price tag has to be.

Dual 1.25ghz G4. SO fast.

I feel the same way

Hm... This sounds fishy. I still can't believe TSA wouldn't have done this without copping a feel.

Not going to lie- that looks pretty sweet. But I just got one of these last week and it's AMAZING. Even less obtrusive and GREAT sound:

I find this to be a very ignorant, if not insulting comment.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA!

A million versions with 8-bit art? Man. Where's the love?!

Legally, no. Morally, yes. Same with 99% of music I download "illegally"- I own, again, about 99% of the music I download. But it is ten times faster for me to download it from a torrent site than it is for me to go into my attic and pull the CDs out, rip them and put them back. I've already paid for it and given the

MUST be an iPad. Final Fantasy Tactics isn't on Andoid.

Helicopter I'm guessing. Either that or a REALLY strong cowboy.

It's weird to think of Mario living in a castle.

Thanks for the insightful comment that adds to much to the thread and our lives, A Magician Named Gob.

God that was an amazing movie. I'm not joking you, I'd watch that on a weekly basis in high school. Mostly for the revamped version of Girl U Want by Devo, secondly for an awesome movie, and thirdly to see Ice T as a kangaroo.

Ah, pulling the prick card, are we? I would hardly call REM retiring "tragic". September 11th was tragic. The Holocaust was tragic. The Garfield movie was tragic. This is some old musicians deciding they'd rather enjoy their lives and piles of cash rather than the hardships of touring and the stresses of recording

Take a chill pill. Be glad you got to enjoy them for 30 years. If it were the Residents or The Cure or a more influential band than REM we might be more sad. REM's advancements in music were few. They did what they did well, but they didn't add anything to the history books.

Hmm. Good point. But jailbreaking was deemed legal by the courts, so you're only breaking your terms of service with Apple really, right?

Oh, but it is a good thing. Would you want AT&T throttling down the bandwidth to your small storefront site unless you pay them a higher monthly fee? Probably not. It ain't broke, so don't fix it.

Why? It's REM. They've been in a downward spiral since Unibrow left.
