Dead Space- space ship survival horror.

Dead Space. Poor Dead Space. One of the most brilliant horror franchises of all time is there, evident by the superb DS1 and still-amazing DS2, only for EA's greed and bizarre desire to homogenize all games into the same microtransactioned, online multiplayer military bro-gamer future to show up and utterly mess with

12-year-old Jaxxyn Wood, from Kentucky, was up at 3:30am playing video games when he "smelled something really bad, like Legos on fire". What he smelled was actually the family's ice-maker on fire, with smoke starting to fill the hallway of his house.

Fox News: "12-year-old juvenile accidentally wakes family while attempting to set fire to the house after playing video game."

They go up.

Horror is kinda my thing. The scariest experiences are tied for me between this and Amnesia. Those games get it- and it sounds like Outlast does as well. But this is mine. How come nobody has mentioned:

Game Title: Resident Evil 2

Fucking ass holes disappearing then grabbing you from behind and shit. God damn made me jump and yell everytime.

I live near-to/adjacent a pretty rough area, and I think this dude was going door to door trying to flog it for cash because reasons. Offered a trade and he was super keen, bizarrely... I was 12 by then, he even threw in Fifa 98, life was goooooood.

That was genuinely cool. I heard the "ooga booga" from Crash Bandicoot when it first started and that really hit home. Crash was the first game I had for PlayStation as a kid.

Really nice ad. I still remember my bro and I getting a ps1 as a joint xmas present. Endless hours of tekken 2. Particularly liked the evolving london skyline.

Sadly I skipped out on the PS1 and opted for the N64 but after that I was with the PS2. So many memories there =)
