In terms of the game mechanics, it's very high-polished and might be able to stand on its own, but it would take a lot of time and consideration and work to build it, because we'd have to start from scratch.

You could always dick around in a Honda Pilot ATV- a motorbike engine, on a dune buggy frame, with a flight grip as your steering wheel, and your thumb on the accelerator. They're hella fun, and can go pretty fast indeed without the limiter.
