I always preferred the Armored Core Kotobukiya sets for my mech based models - I'm a big fan of the series, so to have individual mechs that I've played with and customised ingame dotted around my office is cool for me! Pictured is NineBall V2, which currently sits atop my left speaker ;)

Really hoping they opt for a modular rack-based hardware system, so that it's future-proof for a few years at least. You'd think, with Valve's assets, that they'd have something along these lines up in the design brief. (image from AsusDesign)

Shame about the lack of ability to multiplay the same game - would work wonders for partners who game together, but are trying to save cash for their first mortgage. . . .

Don't forget Ivo Kintobor's Time Treadmill, as used by Sonic the Hedgehog!

I'm aggrieved that this won't see the light of day. I'm a huge Lovecraft fan, and I always hoped this would make it to the big screen. That, and the Shadow over Innsmouth.

But, you never know. One day, someone's going to pick up a Lovecraft and give it a serious go. Until then, someone, please, adapt Terry Pratchett's

"Captain of the Phoenix"

Surely you mean Zefram Cochrane? He's a pretty big plot point in the TNG universe, it surprises me you forgot his name; considering they mention it every 30 secs in First Contact just to justify his existence!

If they are bringing McDiarmid back - does this mean we're getting the resurrected clone-Emperor books made into films? Does this mean (and I'm shaking with excitement as i type this) WE'RE GETTING DARK EMPIRE FILMS?!?!?!

Looks pretty identical - nice catch, thanks for that!

This ball of fire, what caused it, and why does it look so fake compared to everything else?

Ha! Maybe - but we did ask a couple of thousand times ;)

Don't worry - we're already on the case. Like we've said elsewhere, we see this an opportunity for communication, not an ending. Not just yet ;).

Not online any more - I'm guessing SE are just trigger-happy at the moment!

Simply in response as to why I left; I saw this being awesomely useful on my CV at a later date; being chosen to be an Art Director doesnt just happen every day for me! So, my love of the game, and my desire for a more well rounded CV pushed my hand there.

I've just got to say this - not one of us has made a single penny from this project. I gave up a high-level job in London's Strategic Health Authority to work on this project, and have been penniless for the last 8 months while I pulled together a team of fantastic artists and creators. I never once saw a penny for

This^^

Is that Jerry "The King" Lawler? I never watched this film, but I'll be damned if it isn't.

I'm Art Director for this project - so glad to see Kotaku giving us praise;and what praise indeed!!! Mighty thanks going out to all the Kotaku crew; you've been supporters since day one, and we love you for it :D

I remember going to see Yes at the Albert Hall - they performed Homeworld, and showed scenes from the game behind them as they played. It hadn't been out more than a few months; this was the first time I got to see footage, and I was blown away. Years later, I'm still listening to Yes, and I still love Homeworld.

Les Paul. The guitar geek in me could never get over his passing, and I'd have loved to meet him just before he picked up that record needle, or just before he started recording his first overdub; just to tell him "you're about to change the world ;)"
