I'd like to followup here, and post an update to our FAQ's on our Kickstarter page that should clarify some information for some people:

I remember going to see Yes at the Albert Hall - they performed Homeworld, and showed scenes from the game behind them as they played. It hadn't been out more than a few months; this was the first time I got to see footage, and I was blown away. Years later, I'm still listening to Yes, and I still love Homeworld.

Is it just me, or did this trailer feel decidedly Megaman-ish? The six weapons to defeat six different bosses - even the bosses look like something from Megaman X!

Simply, because pandas. I was a hardcore wow player right from the beginning up to cata, guilding, alting and maxing every character i made. I dropped out for a while when cata blew apart everything i knew and loved, and then . . . . the pandas showed up. The game was never the most realistic thing in the world; but…

Take a look inside the front of any old Codex from GW, and you'll see the PARAGRAPHS of copyrighted phrases & likenessess. GW went all out early on, copyrighting everything from Carnifex to Lascannons: which is really rather dumb when you consider the proliferation of Space Marines in Smith (et al)'s work.

20 years later and i'm still painting and playing. My "Void Hawks" Space Marines chapter is rightly feared!
