I didn't...
I didn't...
I took part in the testing back in October with Rahal where we tested many different options of layouts. In the end IndyCar listened to our suggestions and made a variation of the F1 course, but should hopefully have improved passing zones than they had. I'm excited for it!
No minivan, that will never happen :) Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Silverado, Porsche GT3
Indy500 - but why choose, we do both almost every year anyway?
Nurburgring Long Course - though i already have in a rental car but that doesn't really count.
F1
Thanks. I spent a few years driving F1 between 2001 and 2005, but I don't see my career heading back in that direction at this point. I love Long Beach, Indy, Milwaukee, Mid-Ohio, Sonoma.
You're funny ;) We shall see!
I've only driven the race car!! They look almost identical though which is really cool! I saw one today here in Mooresville and had to stop and admire it.
Thanks so much :) Finley is amazing and I love pretty much everything about her. She's been laughing a bit now which is really nice.
The first half of the race was terrible with all of the cautions. There was some average driving out there, especially with cars re-entering the track after spins and causing even bigger accidents.
I love the street courses for the same reasons... everything feels and bit faster and more dangerous when flirting with walls! Boston would be awesome!!
It puts a lot of emphasis on those races which isn't a terrible thing. I'm sure we will assess how it all went come the end of the season, but for now I'm supportive and 100% behind the concept. It's a similar idea to having the double headers, having a bad weekend at these events will be very costly towards…
Thanks. The thing with modern day racing is that the technology is so advanced that the potential speeds of cars without regulations would be insanely dangerous. The only way to keep away from spec racing is to keep multiple manufacturers involved. IndyCar has that now but we could always use more.
Both :)
I honestly love the mix of both that we have in IndyCar. My passion for racing originally comes from permanent road courses like Mid-Ohio and Sonoma, but I've come to love the speed and extreme technical aspects to Oval racing.
I've driven all except DTM and WRC and would definitely be open to them... why not?!
Well, it's definitely the end of one long tradition and hero of the Indy500 ceremonies.... we'll miss him. Helmets, done ;)
I really think IndyCar is on the right track with Aero packages coming in 2015 which make the cars look different. I also think that having at least two engine manufacturers as we have now is awesome.
