I’d argue that Captain America and Thor both coming out the same year and both being successful is what secured the MCU. Especially given that in ‘08 they failed this one-two punch when Iron Man succeeded, but The Incredible Hulk stumbled even though, as you say, those movies had lead actors who were very well known,

I’m actually really looking forward to Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

And I wouldn’t mind seeing Bautista as Bane, but I’ve got Batman fatigue. He (like Spider-Man) has been rebooted & redone SO many times.

Djimon Hounsou (GoTG and Shazam), Idris Elba (Suicide Squad and Thor), JK Simmons (Spider-Man and JL), Laurence Fishburne (Ant-Man and MoS), Michelle Pfeiffer (Batman Returns and Ant-Man), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool and Green Lantern), Taika Waititi (Thor and Green Lantern), Tommy Lee Jones (Batman Forever and Captain

Short list off the top of my head:

Seconded. The author, Le Carré, was so impressed by her performance he wished he had made the character a female to begin with. He was said to be working on a season two because of her. Either way, ya don’t mess with the Colman.

I would also recommend “The Night Manager”; I thought she was great in that too, perhaps underutilized, and Hiddleston & Laurie were fun too.

I thought we already covered this?

Other than The Mandarin, I’m not familiar with this material at all, but holy fucking shit, it looks cool!  I’m in!

I liked this series. I think the film has got a lot of potential, but I’m wondering how hard a sell it’s going to be - a post-middle aged man, looking back on his like and trying to rekindle that sense of adventure he had a young man. It’s going to need a solid lead with a lot of audience appeal.

I’ve always said Scream 4 was top tier in the Scream series. I love it!

I gotta say, this script felt like it was the first and only draft.

Mothra! Why did you say that name?

The Rocketeer was literally the first thing I watched on Disney+.  Still love it.

Do people realize how harmful it is to read sex into every friendly relationship? Fanfic is mostly fun and innocent but stuff like this that attempts to read this into everything as if it’s important is really bad. It’s really, really important to have queer characters! It’s ALSO really, really important to have

I would certainly buy Bucky as gay or bisexual man if they choose to go that way. But the scenes referenced in this article for he and Sam were not even close to queerbaiting as I read it.

Yeah I’m in the same book. I’d love for us to reach a point where male characters being close and intimate to each other wouldn’t be divided solely into either ‘queer’ or ‘queer-baiting’ because that’s still playing into societal toxic masculinity that straight men couldn’t possibly be close and intimate with their

Man, this is a weird article. While I certainly never thought of Bucky and Steve together and the only dates or romantic interests we’ve ever seen him have were women, I would certainly buy Bucky as gay or bisexual man if they choose to go that way. But the scenes referenced in this article for he and Sam were not

Strong Liz Taylor Boom! vibes here.

Nebula finalists were announced Monday evening.  Any chance we might get some coverage on this SciFi website?
