This how bullies work. They beat you down so far you just want it to end. So that when they show any whisper of a hint of relenting or improving their behavior you are so grateful. But they don’t stop. They’ll never stop.

My issue isn’t with giving her that platform. What happened to her husband is a tragedy, and she should get more attention. My issue is with Van Jones describing Trump’s comments as a historic moment, or what makes Trump presidential.

Wow. I think he illustrates perfectly where the motivation for these bills comes from; a hatred for women’s voices and choices and medical well-being that is based in hatred of women themselves.

Are you seriously saying that Trudeau was elected as “Canada’s Trump”? Because that is the most goddamn asinine thing I’ve heard all day, not only because he literally has the opposite stance of Trump on nearly every social issue imaginable, but also because he was elected back when people thought Trump was the kind…

Trudeau is a refreshing change from our previous Prime Minister Harper in many, many ways, but he is a politician, first and foremost. What that means is that regardless of his personal or stated positions on anything, he has to make concessions to certain political realities.

I think it’s safe to say that my country is a little perturbed at the moment with Trudeau because he seems to be backsliding on some of the “promises” he made when elected. However, he is still immensely popular, has a very decent outlook and yes, I still have faith that he will work towards doing the right things.
