Back in 7th grade we had a reading contest to see who could read the most pages by the end of the year. Top 3 got Barnes and Noble gift cards and stuff, but first place got a signed copy of Redwall by Brian Jacques. I ended up winning and still have the book on my shelf. Didn't really like it that much, but it's

If you have a PS3, it's $10 on the store.

Persona's 1 and 2 are tightly connected but predate the popularity the series has gained in the past decade because they play far closer to the mainline series and are about something else entirely.

Akihiko is the clear choice if your looking for a good man.

P3P fixes all the niggles in the combat, including Marin Karin. So as it stands Mitsuru is the best.

Always preferred Persona 3's story and characters to P4, even if the latter is the better game. For some reason it felt more grounded to me, even if it is a bit more melodramatic. Truly great games regardless.

There is a demo for ORAS? Anyways, when I said most I had Smash in mind but I guess the more I think about it the more you seem right, as the limited use demo was always something that bothered me and it came up quite often.

Most of Platinum's work is over the top by design, but Bayonetta definitely feels like it could be a realization of Kamiya's fetishes, though I don't know the details of her design process.

I think the demo things come mostly from there being studies that releasing demos actually lowered game sales on average, as people either got their fill of a game from the demo or found out they didn't like it. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Nintendo mostly just release demos of games that are pretty much not

I'd say in Japan it is far more common but I will admit she isn't exactly an everyday heroine. But even this year alone had Drakengard 3, a game with a protagonist who essentially traveled with a harem of men, each of whom served to fulfill one of her sexual appetites in between rampant bouts of murder and sociopathy.

Wonderful 101 just doesn't work as a demo. Most fans of the game say they didn't begin to grasp the concepts until their second playthrough. It was just a really hard game to sell.

I think my favorite thing about Bayonetta discussion is the game really isn't out to make a statement. It's an action game starring an angel who's completely open and comfortable with her sexuality. And a lot of the time it's played for laughs. And eye candy.

Straight white dude here, but Bayonetta doesn't bother me. At the very least Bayonetta has no pretense of being anything more than that. Platinum is pretty much the king of excess in that regard, both from a aesthetic standpoint and a gameplay standpoint. The only time they tried to be something more than that was in

Since I was never a big online player the servers being down is just a minor inconvenience for me. But if they are down during Bloodborne there will be hell to pay.

I've played about an hour so far, will put in the full 3 this Sunday. Plays like a sped up Souls game so far, though combat is trickier now I can't just tank hits with a shield. They also manage to use a lot more enemies at once. And the environments are gorgeous.

Yeah, the codes were sent out weeks ago. It should have been over already but players found a bug that got them into an area they weren't supposed to be in, finding out some pretty big secret stuff, so it got delayed to patch that out.

The Evil Within is finally here and because of my night shift job the only time I can play it is during the day, so it may be on the backburner for the time being.

Finishing up Remember Me form months ago and salivating over the coming release of The Evil Within. Probably with the Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

I know the answer is yes and I have tried before, but should I give this game a shot? I even have the DS version but I got stuck on my first visit to the ruined world or whatever and felt stupid for not being to figure it out.

Haven't had a chance to try Numenera yet, but given the description of the game above that doesn't sound all that off.
