No, I agree. I think people will start to realize that a lot of indie developers have just as few new ideas as AAA development, they just ape a different market. The sheer number of them certainly doesn't help either. I've never liked procedural generation, but the buzzwords like "Dark Souls" and "Metroidvania" used

His Bacon number.

Enjoy man, my favorite game ever.

To save Jim Sterling and Ben Croshaw from the blight of The Escapist. I would have a happy day.

In fairness, no, I am not sure. I figured it wasn't massive changes, but smaller ones, enough to make HD mods and the like both noticeable and a good idea.

Which is really what I meant to imply by my first sentence, the obvious showcase for Source 2 would be HL3, I just think they wouldn't make it if they couldn't bring something new to the table as well.

Seeing Nier representation always makes me happy. My favorite thing to discover about that game was it was a pseudo sequel to Drakengard, which just totally blew my mind at the time and I loved the fact that the director just took one of his wackier endings to a wacky game and made a different wacky game with it.

Valve has been improving it along with Source Engine improvements, it really isn't the same game that came out 10 years ago. Not huge overhauls or anything, but definite improvements.

I honestly wouldn't expect HL3 until they figure they can do something new with it. Valve and game design seem to be parting ways as they move more towards hardware and they already admitted they make more money on DOTA 2 and TF2 than they ever did with their single player games so why would they make them? Between

The entire trilogy? His weird obsession can really only be applied to the third game.

XII should be the best game but it's just a chore to play. Every other aspect is superior to other games in the series outside a few dealbreakers.

It was easier to recoup costs with XIII sequels than start from scratch is essentially the only reason it got sequels. Toriyama is terrible but XIII-2 and Lightning Returns were generally improvements on XIII, I would call LR fun, actually. A weird hybrid of action game and turn-based RPG.

"Zahn" and "Mara Jade" were all I figured the EU had to offer bookwise after a middle school's worth of Star Wars novels.

Honestly didn't even consider this, but this would be pretty great. Even Bowser is fun to hang out with on weekends, golfing and go-karting and such.

I may be a bit biased since SotC is my favorite game, but - annoying fanbases aside - since indie games have become a thing and Colossus is nearly a decade old, their are much less worthy games receiving that kind of attention.

Spyro and Crash are owned by Activision now, hence why there is only Skylander bullshit. Not that Sony wouldn't hop on that money train, but Activision was responsible for the rebranding. I have no clue what, if anything, they are doing with Crash.

I was completely engaged in it until Lightning Returns hit and I will probably go back to it once the madness that is the next few weeks of releases passes. One thing I can say about it (Didn't get too far, just a level or two inside the castle) is that the mood and setting is perfect, and the setting and score are

It was actually made into a animated movie back when EA did that sort of things with its games. It wasn't great obviously but there was some cool visual stuff going on. It didn't help that every few floors of hell a different animation company took over, changing the style of the animation. This would have been cool

I did give Card Hunter a shot but I don't think I made it past the tutorial level. A neat concept though.

I was tempted by that Kickstarter Tier, but I couldn't scrounge up $250 on poor college student budget. Has Hex even entered Beta yet? I was definitely interested.
