Agree here. Liquidity is (should be) a big consideration in personal finances and is often downplayed in the comments here. With this or with very low interest loans you’re often much better to have the flexibility/peace of mind/options of keeping your hands on the cash.

Yeah. No one here knows what happened but I think a lot of people are confusing curb rash from parking, a slow speed scuff while doing something like a u-turn, and then sliding sideways into a curb at speed. These are three very different scenarios with the last of the three being an accident that would justifiably

I also really like the styling of this generation. While I only have experience driving the XJ6 of this era it was a great car to drive. Low and heavy feeling. It just rode so flat even through corners. It felt substantial in all the right ways. I’d love to have the V12 and this seems like a great price, even just to

I can agree partially here. A good program is still good even if some of the funds don’t get to the right people. A small bit of waste shouldn’t be used to discredit something that provides more wide ranging good.

Your’s is the correct take. The Tuscan 2 might be my favorite TVR. Sagaris is a cool car too. I like the Cerbera more than this as well. Come to think of it, this might be the worst looking TVR ever. Point to anything with a side exit exhaust though.

I too pine for this is in my next car.

Yeah. This seems like the solution for people who think touching a random spot on a big flat screen provides too much feedback. Which would be no one. Screens are cool to look at for 5 minutes but give me knobs and buttons for something I will use dozens of times a day while trying to drive a car.

Yes, definitely Boxster over Miata. For the price, burn me at the stake here, I’d also have a 350Z over the Miata.

I can’t say that car speculation sounds like a good investment. Sure, you can’t drive a stock portfolio but you can’t really drive investment grade vehicles either. Plus there are much greater carrying costs to a car collection. That said I can sort of agree on the 987 Spyder choice but I don’t personally see much

This. There are certain fluctuations in car prices as generations age. See American muscle cars. This isn’t a classic Ferrari. This car is seeing its peak right now. I’m not saying it’s going to depreciate to nothing but I would imagine this is at or near as much as this will ever be worth (inflation adjusted).

Thumbs up here. Buick has made some solid options even to more modern times (I mean not their dreary crossover lineup). Not my cup of tea personally but if I were in the market for a Lexus I would have bought a Buick instead.

It’s also too big. The original Camaro was not a large car. I know we all say cars have gotten bigger over the years but next to the American boats of the 60’s this thing was tiny. The Camaro should be smaller and lighter but with a big engine.

Are you sure the problem wasn’t the frameless doors and instead the fact that you bought a Ford product (I get the Bronco is as well). There are plenty of manufacturers who can build things that work (like frameless doors) that Ford cannot.

Good call. If so, still CP.

Yeah, mine does this too. What is the purpose? It’s off. It won’t hurt anything. Are people really microwaving things and then forget they were making food?

There are many people who view cars as appliances. I don’t, but I do view appliances as appliances and although I enjoy the occasional gimmick I do not care for appliances that are poorly designed, have confusing controls, or beep at me. Nothing should beep at me ever. I’m a person, you’re a toaster, you don’t get to

This looks exactly like the controls on our rice cooker. It makes delicious rice and was very cheap - so I am happy with it. If the controls on my car looked like this I would be less than pleased.

Can I keep my other cars? If so, I’ll take the old one and the money. If I have one car and this is it, I would have to take the new one because of warranty, reliability, safety. Of course if given 30k I’d probably get a cheaper one of these and then add an RX7 or 996 911 to the stable.

RV’s are like cheap boats for people who are afraid of the water and using too much gasoline.

Interesting observation. Question: when you squeegee what side do you start and end on? I always make sure I blade the driver’s side last. I have long arms so I can almost reach all the way across. This yields the best results as the cutover line ends up on the passenger side. I also blade a little farther out with
