Agree with you here. Toss in a green Aston DBS to the lotto list along with an F-Type (if only for the exhaust note). Just about everything British does look good in green with maybe the exception of Rolls Royce. Think I’d go slate gray and light gray two tone on the Wraith and a bright blue on the Dawn. Come on Powerb

I like the 430 in pictures but in person, not a big fan. The proportions just weren’t right in the tail section, it was just too tall in the back. Plus those headlights... The 458 was a big step up in my book. Plus a far superior interior. Not that I’d turn one down but I think the 430 is the worst looking of the

A 7 second 0-60 is definitely underpowered. I guess it’s all relative and at the time that was not as bad, but by today’s standards that’s walking pace.

Dodging federal taxes might be unpatriotic but avoiding a state trying to grab money out of your pocket for simply owning something seems like a patriot move to me. Why should I pay more in taxes because I bought a car with my money than someone who spent their money on burgers and strippers?

Clearly just a trim pack, look at the interior shots. This thing is not designed for track use. Losing 176 is nice but it’s mainly from different wheels and brakes - which is good but they didn’t really put this thing on a track diet. At 3700 it’s way too heavy.

Not sure if I can agree with that. It’s like saying the speed limit is 55, don’t drive 54 or 53, probably should drive 10 to not push the limit of the laws. This seems like having a cop stand by the side of the road and if he thinks you’re driving too fast you get a ticket. Then you have to prove you weren’t speeding.

I feel like you have to try to make MPG that bad. I drive a car that weighs more, has twice the cylinders, twice the displacement, and twice the horsepower and I can get similar MPG. Well sort of, if I’m really careful and I have a slight tailwind but still.

Which is why he would get arrested but not to give them the right to search the car. By this logic can the cops also just swing by his house, using their own discretion, and rummage through his things?

But he threw the keys in and locked the car after they told him they were going to search it. So before he took that action they had already decided they were going to do it and, based on the wording in the article, told him they were doing it and did not ask for consent.

While I think this sounds like a bad guy, who should definitely be punished for his driving infractions, what right did the officers have in searching his car? From this article it didn’t sound like the police saw anything or that they had any type of probable cause for the search other than he was speeding. Did I

My Nissan 350z roadster’s glove compartment is behind the front passenger seat. You have to slide the seat forward to get to it. The weird thing is that it has a false bottom and if you pull that out there is a small shallow tray maybe a little larger then a sheet of paper and about an inch deep. Not sure what it is

1993 Mazda 626 had this but the stereo and cubby were stacked right on top of each other.

This. If you need salt and lime, you’re drinking the wrong tequila.

That’s the first answer that comes up when you Google it but I’m pretty sure these guys are making a lot more than that. Sports Illustrated did an article a few years back that quotes some very different numbers.

He should buy a Lexus SUV: NX, RX, GX, it doesn’t really matter what model. Tight parking? Maybe NX. Can buy one of these (with the hybrid for MPG) new within budget but would recommend buying a used one if you’re just going to spill paint in it. Four key reasons:

I spent some time driving in Ireland recently where there are tons of speed cameras. Over there they are labeled, not always individually but they let you know when you are in one of the zones. Even my GPS would warn me when I was in a zone and speeding.

I get it’s a popular take that Jag’s aren’t reliable but didn’t that stop being true like 25 years ago? Maintenance and reliability I don’t think are any worse than the Germans. Build quality is a little less (nice materials but fit and finish is sometimes behind other European cars) but still miles better than any

Mercedes SLR. It is rare and will stand out in any crowd, definitely different than a Ferrari or Lambo. European like you want. There are both convertible and hard top variants for sale for under $300k. Crazy fast super car but doubles as a GT.

Long time reader, first time poster. The answer for this guy is a Jaguar XFR-S. There’s a 2013 (better looking post facelift model) on Autotrader right now for $44k.
