Wow. theres a difference between being very disappointed in the Metroid announcement and being an entitled dick who tries to get a game cancelled just because they don’t like that it carries the name of their beloved franchise.

I’ve come to think that when people say that, they mean that Nintendo needs to make a game as fun and satisfying as Kart or Smash but with a new IP. Asking a lot, but totally understandable. Who knows, maybe this will be it?
This is definitely the biggest new IP they’ve backed in a while, but they’ve had at least 15-20 new IPs since 2011.
