Protests ALWAYS get messy. There are always those few annoying people who are there to be seen, or to meet someone. There are even those who show up just to get into fights.

“...Felony charge of third-degree false imprisonment for Santos, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.”
I’ve seen Kamala’s work since she started here in San Francisco.
Love this: “If the meat doesn’t fit, you must acquit.”
Watching POSE a few weeks ago, I told my roommate: I want to see Billy Porter cast in pretty much every show. Whether acting, singing, or telling it like it is, his courage and his authenticity shine through. Love this man so much!
White supremacy in one of its most petty manifestations. I’d bet this is the tip of the iceberg. They probably have dozens of other policies, written and unwritten, that serve to limit BIPOC. There’s subtext here hinting at lack of tolerance for gender noncomformity, too.
The attacks on protesters by armed, anonymous federal Gestapo forces in Portland is an emergency. She’s bringing attention to the situation. Although it smells like a look-at-me-being-special moment, I have to point out that we don’t actually know her name.
There is no envy like that of author towards author: gushing adulation, homicidal resentment. I know the feeling well.
I’m so sorry to hear about the ongoing trauma you’ve experienced! You are in my thoughts.
I flag posts, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
Headline of the year!
Seems like a legacy of the “Zero Tolerance” approach that America tried back in the 1980's. It did not work. Does not work. Will never work. Data: https://www.apmreports.org/episode/2016/08/25/reforming-school-discipline
Hey, Universe: More of THIS kind of thing, please!
I’m so sorry! Sigh. Four things I’m wishing:
We educators hear you. We know you need a place for your children to go while you work, and we know students missed out on a lot of learning last year. I wish we had the funding to try strategies such as installing plexiglass barriers, and hiring extra teachers in order to split the classes in half for two school shift…
In my district, most substitutes are retired teachers: high risk group.
Good man!
We’re perpetually “reminded what a deeply silly and unimpressive person” YOU are. Prior experience teaches us there’s nothing but garbage behind your mushy, fake-tanned face, and plastic hair. You don’t even have to open your mouth.
If I only had just one get-out-of-death-free game token, I would cash it in for this young man.
Plus she was right up in everyone’s face without a mask. Disgusting.
