I think the conversation about white-washing Asian roles is important but I can’t get behind how Cho handled the discussion.

I don’t think she’s racist either. Maybe blind to the dynamics of racism that help benefit her. I actually think Cho could have handled this much better than she did. It was likely a chance to actually open someones eyes but instead she reacted defensively.
