what are the benefits of flying? I high speed trained all over europe and loved it. no security checks, 200 miles per hour and lovely train stations compared to airports.

The wool does a much better job of muffling farts.

I dunno. Train passengers typically have a lot more room. That said, all the flights I’ve been on in recent memory have been Frontier, so that might be skewing my perspective. And all the flights I’ve taken recently have gone over oceans, so it’s been quite a while since I’ve taken a train.

Leather is hard-wearing and durable, but not more comfortable than good cloth. Think about it... you want silk sheets, not cow hide.

Also dealers: Why don’t people want to buy from dealers?

Dealers being scummy? Well I never!

Strong agreement here. The only ‘good’ examples people will bring up are either from 50 years ago, or are on an already good-looking car with few changes. Most of their cars look terrible imo, I don’t see the appeal. For $25k on a mk3 MR2, I’d rather just get a clean one, a 2ZZ, and a few other tasteful supporting

Another daily reminder that Texas is a third-world state.

Also MA, but Boston. I’ve never seen this. Closest I came was a entitled little fucker in Wesley with a goddamn confederate flag blow by me one day on a twisting two lane backroad.

Karma got the better of him as two weeks later I drove by him and his truck... which appeared to have rolled down an embankment. I, being

Agreed.

It’s legal since the only people at risk are those who have decided to bear that risk.

I thought about this one too, but I think I’d argue that there was a bigger leap between the 4th and 5th generations. While the 4th gen car was an improvement on the 3rd gen car overall, I’d argue that that’s pretty much all it was: a heavily improved 3rd gen. The 5th gen car was completely redesigned and critically

correct opinion.  cayman is a better car that is also better looking.

Unpopular Opinion:  Cayman is way better looking than 911.

The right answer here is a Porsche Cayman. It’s quick, usable year round, and what’s more special than a Porsche? It’ll be newer and less hassle than whatever 911 you can get for the same money. Here’s one in Florida for $53k with only 30k miles. Barely broken in.

Kia is borderline gorgeous. Mitsu is borderline tragic

ha ha ha ha tough shit good luck with that, professor

No. Keep your “well actually” to yourself.
