let’s be clear that this isn’t about building cars, it isn’t about high quality automobiles, and it isn’t about being a profitable company. This is solely about a bunch of short sellers that got butt-hurt by a crazy dude that they knew was crazy, so they bet against him. Lo-and-behold, the crazy dude proved crazy, but

I look at the interior shot of that car and I can actually smell it.

I want to keep that in the bed of my Super Duty instead of a spare tire.

Many Audi dealers acutally operate this way right now. If you want a plain vanilla a3 or Q5, then they’ll probably have a stock to choose from. Anything else, if it it shoved on the dealer by Audi, is probably going to be a custom order. People with cash can afford to wait, and want to order exactly what they want out

watch the 1994 Dennis Leary movie ‘The Ref.”

I’ve seen the movie, I hear what you’re saying, but I’ve gone back and forth in my head over whether Geena gave a bad performance, or if the dialogue was just too bad to save. that was not a good movie.

1971 240z into a full Fairlady with fender mirrors, light covers, flares, and G nose. Generous use of an aluminum block motor and a good turbo with lightweight bits throughout could get you one of the most beautiful cars ever designed with real racing chops to it and a curb weight dangerously close to 2000 lbs.

not thinking like a CEO.

I would take this over an A3 any day of the week, an that’s coming from a die-hard Audi guy. To be fair though, the A3 is a total piece of garbage.

I look at that escort GT with the automatic seatbelts and I can still perfectly recall the feeling of the strap wrapping around my neck from when you’d open the door and look down at the ground while it retracts along the roof and A-pillar.
