Respond vaguer.
Personally, I feel like the longer they tease out the explanation for Steven’s former obliviousness to his other identity the less fucks I give about any of this. Characterization edging is bullshit. And why? So we can repeat the same goddam action beats from the pilot?
I don’t need my entertainments to be 100% brutal and scowly, but by ten minutes into the second episode I was INCREDIBLY tired of the Steven Grant personality. I hope he stays in the mirror.
i find myself wishing this was a movie and not a series.
Yeah, I backed up and checked, wondering how they’d handle it.
I watched with closed caption and it said “fart”
This show is not perfect, obviously. But Fiona Shaw as Carolyn does make up for a lot. In this episode she conveyed regret, contempt, annoyance, fear, rage, and determination. But hardly any of it registered visibly on the surface. That is quite a performance.
That said, I did enjoy the comical noises the scooter made. It was a good use of audio to undercut their squabbling.
wow I didn’t realize how much I’d miss Perkins
That voice in Steven’s voice head sounds an awful lot like Venom, but I suppose that’s just a coincidence.

I’m ashamed that the tragic story of Devonte Hart and his siblings wasn’t on my radar at the time. Tomorrow, March 26, marks four years to the day that the Hart family’s vehicle was found over a cliff. Devonte’s body still has never been found; how I want to believe he escaped like Loquareeous.
***********SPOILER**********
Loquareeous eats left over spaghetti while watching American Dad. Nice to see a fellow person of culture represented on screen.
Their story lines were limited due to shooting The Good Fight and “Are We Really Doing this Again” at the same time.
Witchataw?? It’s Wichita.
“Should we give Agnes and Ada more to do?”
“Oh...no. Let’s not. Maybe next season.”
I like that the first comment in this comment section is a perfect example of why the comment section sucks.
“This incredibly popular pop culture phenomena is getting a review but not a sci-fi show that I like but hasn’t made much of an impact?! Time to make a snide comment!”
