Considering that the Buddha is supposed to have escaped the cycle of rebirth, it would certainly have more profound theological implications!

Hell, I live in NYC now but I miss Leonardo's delivery. You can get good Italian food in Burlington, if you don't mind taking out a second mortgage; try Delia's, tucked away in a basement on St. Paul just south of City Hall Park.
Meh, it's a big place. There is plenty of top-notch pizza at reasonable prices in New York. But the vast majority of it's utter garbage.
It's about unmedicated schizophrenia.
"A new Atlantic article by Sam Kriss dives into the latest wrinkle on the flat-Earth theory"
It can be two things, but he did gain most of that weight after Curtis died, so…
I just read a bio over the winter that makes the same point; Cobb had his warts, but the book savages Stump.
"Don't you see, Jeff? You've been carrying it with you the whole time!"
Which may be a ridiculous endeavor, but I happen to think it's valuable.
Jeff Ament, sorry. Edited to fix.
Wait, what were we talking about?
I agree, which is why I think the notion of an artistic HOF is asinine. The idea of "measuring" art is ridiculous. The only semi-objective criteria I can come up with are sales and technical chops. If we go by album sales, the greatest guitar rock artists are probably The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. If we go by…
My favorite comment about her next (self-titled) album involved "found something to do with all the leftover horns from her collaboration with David Byrne."
Meh, Jeff Ament disagrees. But it's not like Nugent's ever getting in anyway.
Yah.
Missing her and Byrne's appearance at Shelburne Museum on the Love This Giant tour is the single biggest missed-concert regret of my life. I mean, they were right down the fucking road and I resolved to work late to catch up at a job that I left months later anyway.
Meh, as I mentioned below, I prefer St. Vincent on all levels. But I do think technical skill is a valuable measure of a performer, and the idea that someone could hear Nugent from the 70s and think, "this guy is a mediocre performer of blues-derived guitar rock" is jist strange to me.
Ah, I missed the memo that originality is the most important objective criteria of a performer.
St. Vincent being an undeniably awesome guitarist doesn't somehow negate the chops of her objectionable predecessors. Unless we're discussing a Really Awesome Person Hall Of Fame.
