I rather enjoy your laissez faire attitude towards the shift key.

or, not?

also, libertarians are totally part of the problem.

Okay ... Republicans are fascists you fucking tool! Sort of like that you mean?

This is hilarious.

“In which hip-hop has largely displaced traditional pop and rock.”

My husband and I still argue over whether MC5 was punk or metal, and nobody here will know what that means.

Right?? Straight in the fucking childhood...

oh good lord... not a born again... those are the worst

John Lithgow was hilarious on 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN, in part because Jane Curtin's Dr. Albright was such a great counterpart.

Jane Curtin should’ve had a much stronger career than she has had.

As St. Carlin once said, “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

That's because it's not a bad sketch. The audience just didn't get it, probably because they're too young to recognize the archetype being dismantled here.

Yes, on a technical level this is a trainwreck, but on a purely comedic level this is too funny. I had laughing fits that I rarely have when watching SNL. The fact that something this specific and weird could get cut and something broad and boring makes it into a show just tells me that I need to spend more time

As most nerds do about shit other people don't care about.

"It's not part of it."

The third "Social Security" killed me. It was clear they weren't actually supposed to respond, but they just kept on doing it. I admit, I kind of started to tear up there.

The best part was the teen audience actually doing the call and response, and Bill Hader's amused face realizing just how wrong this sketch is for this audience.

It took awhile to get going (but well, the host almost got killed in the beginning, so that's understandable), but I was laughing pretty hard once the kazoo kicked in.

"Set almost fell on ya, that would've sucked."

Four minutes in.
