Why invoke anything about Allen or Polanski when referencing Sandra Bullock? That’s what I find distasteful and why don’t you?

Two problems I see -

Bullock should NOT give back her Oscar, period.

Over on AVClub they’re writing garbage about why she doesn’t have to return her Oscar by tying in Roman Polanski and Woody Allen for their respective Child Molestation/Rape charges?!!

Lauren seems to have a bug up her backside regarding criticism of the USWNT and Lloyd in particular. Alexi Lalas came out and talked about the poor showing and the diminished reputational harm this would have going forward. So if you’re going to go after one, why not the other?

Somewhere in my dark, twisted brain I want to make a joke about MTG and Kari Lake fighting to see whose offering Trump a blowjob. Both these clowns clinging to him like he’s The Bachelor.

Each should be a unique instance of harm (you could argue they were family members phones you purchased?)... But I’m sure the lawyers wrote the settlement to ensure their take and continue to screw with consumers.

Lloyd was being paid for her “Take”, one that few can speak about and have experience in. You can agree/disagree, but she’s allowed to have it as much as any other person.

SBF was about personal power not Effective Altruism. (Which is a weird thing since the basic premise is I’ll Get Mine and give it out in ways that make me look better. That Giving Pledge, where people give it away before they die, works on the assumption a single person determines the greatest utility for the money…

We’re 127th in reading and 20% of adults can’t read above a 4th Grade level. 50% haven’t read a book in years (websites, newspapers and periodicals don’t count in that number)!

Imagine the number of kids in college with NIL deals who are getting screwed by some “savior” who promised to make them rich?
