Yea thats nuts! Though there are plenty of E39 M5‘s with this same drivetrain in that mileage range, its still not an insignificant maintenance burden.

How you can tell David Tracy has absolutely nothing on his mind except Jeeps....

Odyssey from that era come with AWD or a stick though? And they’re probably larger physically with less ground clearance. The look of the Element definitely has its niche these days in comparison with the Ody

I’m actually sort of in the market for one of these as a daily small truck alternative... though really only in unicorn form, EX AWD manual car. They’re out there, but as you know ridiculously expensive! Anything under 100k miles is over 10-12k,for a 10-15 year old Honda!

Mazda CX5?  Definitely the most mom-able, AWD, looks sweet, and has pep if you go for the turbo.

Definitely don’t like it.

Looks like someone beat up an GT86 and the car is now swollen and bleeding...

Speaking of BMW 3 series... You aren’t wrong (per wikipedia)

When the new 3 series is bigger and heavier than the E39 5-series... there’s obviously room for a smaller sedan.  I’m fine with the gran coupe, but yea... FWD is a fail for BMW.

If you’re not already part of the E39 M5 Owner’s Group on Facebook, I recommend it. Best resource online. M5board is sort of shit now.

Think about this, the E39 M5 (of which I own one) cost $76K new or almost $104k in todays dollars. It had 400 hp and went 0-60 in 4.8 seconds.

buy a 5 series?

Point 1. Those wheels on the white Mperformance version are oddly amazing. Like I should think they’re hideous, but I love them.

“And, practically speaking, they’re what allowed me to “end it over all of these rocks without losing all my hair from all the stress.”

Yea, I’m definitely seeing more than a bit of Ford GT

The current 3 also has a giant C-pillar, but its actually camouflaged as black glass. Not sure if its this big though... :0

The third brake light... come on Porsche?!

Someone photoshop one of these in rally trim. 1-2" lift, meaty tires, mudflaps, and a couple extra lights in the grill.

That rubicon hood is a monstrosity.

This thing was definitely designed by AI.
