I think the old EU was just as bad with this stuff. That story you describe is really heavy, and they throw smugglers in there — so many smugglers everywhere! and I guess it works. I liked not knowing the backstory of every character, no matter how big or small they are.

I haven’t watched this thing in years, but when I was a kid it wasn’t that bad (I was a kid, though, so.. I dunno). It was a show that sort of recapped the week in big stories and gave those stories a little narrative and some analysis. The older I got, the more I felt the same about some of the guys as most of you do…
