I was commenting more on how storytelling shifts with a series that with a movie. If you create a series and its successful, it then becomes lets see how long we can string this out to maintain its success or maintain content for an entire season. It was just poorly written honestly. The cast was great but great acting cannot save a bad script. The ending was what I expected for a Christmas movie. The jokes fell flat etc, there could have been more of a story. Yes Kristen’s GF brings her there on “false pretenses” and basically ignores her.  

haven’t seen this yet but I wonder why a series not another movie remake
