I have the same problem with most flats. I’ve found that the foam ‘back of heel cushions’ that you can stick into the shoes can make a huge difference. I’ve paired them with Easy Spirit flats (since they usually have a rubber sole and decent cushioning), and they have been great. Could never find flats that didn’t rip…
