You thought that because we have had eight pretty good years with a great president who is kind and fair, who received both the electoral college and the popular vote. You though that because in the past few years we have made progress in justice for everyone (though we have a long way to go). You thought with all

I saw this earlier and gained so much hope. Plus the bittersweet knowledge that he didn’t actually get the popular vote. There are more of us who did not vote for him than there are who did. We are larger and we just need to keep reaching out and re-educating.

I told my daughter that we fight for our friends. We won’t stop. Her friends at school are terrified.

57%. ?????? I have not seen the numbers. Ugh. I am so ashamed.

I’m having a similar feeling because I looked at the precinct results on the door of my son’s school today and saw that Trump beat Hillary 2 to 1 in both precincts. Who are these people?

While driving to work this morning, I thought, “Well, it’s Friday. What new, bizarre, political bombshell is going to drop this afternoon to bring more chaos to the election?”

That is what I recall from the original Dr. Sears books as well: that he proposed an alternate schedule, but did not dispute the need for the vaccines. It seems that in less than fifteen years his position has changed dramatically.

Ditto. I got much more sleep when we finally did the co-sleep thing. I get that it doesn’t work for nor is it desired by everyone, but it probably saved us. And I was extremely lucky because my hubby definitely co-parented with me and helped with the midnight, 1:30 am, 3:00 am and 4:45am feeds and diaper changes.

Wacky, isn’t it? I am a little surprised at the pile on the OP. I really hate the mommy wars.

But maybe George of the Jungle gave you a bit of solace
