I recall the Pie in the Sky date to be one that I thought was a really "what" motivation for him to be interested in her, not just because she was "mean", but later, when they actually talk about what they would like on a date. And then he was back to being a jerk in every episode after.

They'll call into Linda regularly to help them on their missions. She'll look up information while sipping wine and Googling turquoise jewelry. "Talk to me, Lin."

I found myself really delightfully surprised with both episodes. Secret Admiral-er wasn't much of a high, but it was fine. I definitely think the B-story would have made for a better A-story. It was kind of clear that Louise's theory wouldn't pan out based on the delivery of the lines, to me. But the real surprise for

J-Ju was definitely pointless as it concerned Tina in the episode, but I like that they at least acknowledged the bizarre way that he runs hot and cold with her. If anything, he's been a huge plot device: indifferent when she needs to be spurned, available when she needs to go on a date, into her when she needs a win.

They both got lines. I mean, not huge lines, but they're in there. :D

Yeah, I guess so. But still, whatever the cost of the cheaper camp, it was still enough that the Belchers had to put off fixing the fryer for a few months. That ain't chump change. Neither was that couch, or that heliflopter. Why do the Belchers keep wasting critical sums of money? WHHHY?

It's a chain. They're in a lot of places now.

Admittedly, some of Bob's discussions with inanimate objects are borderline disturbing, like their fear of being eaten, but at least none have suffered existential breakdowns.

He also stands in grocery stores screaming and cheering for frozen turkeys, so… ;)

Yeah, but you get the sense that an easier horse like Buttercup would have lead to a better result for her.

To the glue factory with him! And you can bet Tina won't be bike locking herself to save him.

I think it's healthy for the show to establish some boundaries, even when it's within a single episode. It grounds the show a little and keeps it from going off the rails where anything weird would be acceptable without a second thought. Clearing noting things as stigmatized within the show helps to highlight why it's

I'm confident that if they wrote Josh back in, they could find a way to make him a little less perfect, but still immensely enjoyable.

Possibly also Robin. He needs to find some way to get over the Boo Boo hurt.

Does this mean that for the next few months, Gene's Itty Bitty Ditty Committee song is finally true?

They had no place being over there.

Yes, but my argument is that as far as the show is concerned, SHE is not that kind of character…at least not anymore. She initially was like this in the first season, but she's since mellowed out to be a character who is enthused, and a bit over dramatic, but is also considerate and thoughtful. The Tina we've come to

Though disturbingly terrified of what it means to know that he's just the figment of some girl's imagination. An imaginary friend desperately working to convince you that you're not real? If I learned Tina was having those kinds of interactions with her imaginary friend, as a parent, I'd be concerned.

Or remember how Gene and Louise regularly pee in the kitchen sink and rainboots? It wasn't just the one time.
