I felt the same way. That couch got way too much gross exposure to be acceptably returned. Use that basement, Belchers! Use it!

I would have really expected Bob to be more sentimental about the couch. However, Linda makes sense if they want to tie the couch to family memories, because she's all about how much she "loves her family!" Bob is sentimental about inanimate objects that he's anthropomorphized. Still, Linda seemed much more pragmatic…
I don't know why, but I found the largely matter-of-fact scene where one of Jairo's physical therapy exercises involves Bob popping bubbles with his injured arm to be absolutely delightful.
It doesn't seem like it. He was in The Hauntening this season, and Sliding Bobs.
I figure it'd be similar to a red hankie.
But what of Helen?
Mine was:
I agree that the episode wasn't a barrel of laughs, but it didn't matter to me because seeing where Gene and Courtney's relationship was going plot-wise was intriguing and the pathos by the second half was more than enjoyable. So I would rank it up there, just because witnessing the payoff of Gene dealing with his…
I want to give it to Thanksgiving just because Bob's Burgers really embraces the holiday in a way that other shows don't seem to. They seem to come up with something special each time because they know it's a neat quirk for it to truly be their main character's favorite holiday beyond the fact that he likes to eat.
Marshmallow is probably their only recurring queer character, and that's pretty minor. Outside her introduction, her largest part since was being called beautiful and cracking Bob's back.
While I loved it and didn't have a problem with him arriving there seemingly on his own, it does seem more in line with the character for Gene to at least get that sort of guidance from a random adult. Like Gus maybe. I'm not sure where they would fit it in, but it would have made a bit more sense.
Tina and the Real Ghost?
I think post-opening, the store front is only filled when it has to do with a plot point. Sexy Dance Fighting and Uncle Teddy, for example.
No no no no noooooo! Work Haaaaaarrrrd!
I think they found that reintroducing her meant that she would have to be a bit more toned down. Her first appearances really makes her and her family awful, such as intentionally kicking Bob's seat and Doug stealing Gene's song. But by her second appearance, she's easier going, though the Belcher kids clearly have a…
But that episode is strangely at odds with the full orchestration Gene wrote for Electric Love. From that episode, I assumed that Gene is talented as hell, but probably just not formally educated enough to do it time and time again. Same with The Unbearable Like-Likeness of Gene, where it seems he would be talented…
Yeah, it got me too…
"IIIII'mmmmm deeeefffllleeeeccttiiiing bullllleeeeetttts!"
I have been coming so hard…home from work just 'cause I'm excited to have dinner with you.
Jane! Stop it! Taking this deal doen't mean that I'm settling or that I don't respect myself or that I can't be the heroine of a series of self-published post-apocalyptic tween novels whose name may or may not be Teagan Arrowspear! I just. want. to buy. the car!
