I just finished listening to the BBC's Foundation series radio dramatization (my first exposure to Asimov's works, actually), so this made me laugh quite a bit! :D

I really hope that Telltale will, somehow, someway, make a Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire game. A traditional RPG makes the player feel empowered through mechanics like leveling up, acquiring abilities, and loot—exactly the opposite of what the license needs. In The Walking Dead, Telltale has made a game that…
After reading the comments section, I can't help but think that a lot of the people posting have been affected by bias against Metacritic. If it had been labelled as anything other than "Metacritic analysis", I think there would be many more positive reactions.
Definitely darker than any of the previous films. I think it's gonna be an improvement though! From what I've seen of the trailers, Andrew Garfield carries the Spidey role better than Tobey Maguire. That scene in the cab with Spidey being a smart-ass ("You seriously think I'm a cop, in a skin-tight red and blue…
I have a good feeling about the game, and will definitely get it to see how Cyanide has done with the license. A sandbox type RPG is definitely not suited to delivering the same feeling as the books/TV series. Watching the video allayed most of my fears.
Okay, it can't just be me that sees this as the perfect way to make a Game of Thrones video game. Not as a strategy game, not as a role-playing game... but as a cinematic adventure game cut up into episodes.
I wish they'd just make the next X-Wing or TIE Fighter game.
Is this the same guy who did the voice-overs for the Baldur's Gate series? The guy never fails to remind you of that fundamental tenet of adventuring: NOBODY gets left behind.

The scale, the characters, and the politics. I agree with Mr. Plunkett that these qualities help define the "A Song of Ice and Fire" / "Game of Thrones" experience — which is why I don't see the RPG (as we know them) as the best medium for it.
Thanks! I'll remember that next time.

Aside from how they demanded money from suspected pirates, CD Projekt seems to be on the right track. By removing DRM, they're giving pirates less incentive to crack and distribute their games. By making great games and added value, they're giving people more incentive to buy their product.
