I agree with you 100%. If someone is a billionaire, it’s because they fucked over a whole lot of people to get there. Even people who are more or less good, like Bill Gates, still got that kind of money by being a dick to either their employees or their customers, or both.

That’s what kills me about the reviews. It’s a monster movie. It’s about monsters and monster fights. It’s destruction porn. Getting upset that the story wasn’t The Notebook is just stupid. If you can’t enjoy a good popcorn flick, then don’t go see it.

I saw the movie this weekend and it was a blast. I loved the insertion of Godzilla’s theme music throughout, and the pacing, while frantic, was still nuanced enough to be enjoyable. So many instances of thinking one thing was going to happen and then NOPE. The fight scenes were fantastic.
