As a hardcore gamer of almost 44 years, The Witcher 3 is the best game I’ve ever played, hands down. You are missing out. The Witcher 2 was alright but took linear and the combat was meh. I never even bothered with The original Witcher game. And as others have said, the books are fantastic.

The first 3 games in this series were all great, but I remember Soul Reaver on the Dreamcast being outstanding. The voice talent was top notch, the music, the graphics...man, I loved that game. Too bad they took it off the rails and went nowhere with it.
