Try finding a normal person who’s willing to watch it when you describe the basic premise. Try finding a show that’s so perfect and haunting…
Not gonna quibble rankings but honestly confused how The National have four universally acclaimed albums in the 10's but not one of them made the list.

IMO a lot of picks could or should have been another album by the same artist (Red > 1989; Beyonce > Lemonade; good kid > Damn; Honey > Body Talk) but a good list overall. No War on Drugs feels like an insane oversight though.
Pop dominates all of these lists because music critics are so desperately afraid of being attacked by “poptimists.” And it causes exactly the kind of freezing out of other genres that you see here.
The poptimist era is so boring. Critics are terrified to treat any pop music as less than genius and ignore other genres.

Their great albums are all time greats. Filled with ambition, meaning, and energy. Their horrible albums are all time horrible. Filled with misplaced ambition, attempts at meaning, and energy.
If Tom Cruise’s romantic leads can consistently be in their 20s, then let’s not make simple gay male sexuality predatory because there is an age gap. At least CXG has acknowledged there is an age gap, unlike every Hollywood movie ever.
It’s been 2 days and still no review of the series premiere. I’m wondering if they just silently decided to stop covering it.
