It has nothing to do with movies, but I remember an anecdote from Barry Sanders' freshman year at Oklahoma State, when he was still backing up Thurman Thomas. When Barry Switzer's Oklahoma team played Oklahoma State, he warned his defense to be careful not to hurt Thomas, because "You don't want to go up against the

Is it bad that I immediately thought of this answer because my first instinct was, "Man, I'd like to get this thing over with in one day"?

Probably they wouldn't have had to be up early the next day, though— if Eddie was on a sleepover there's no way it was a school night.

Man, fuck you, son!

It's not the first time he's appeared.

Wait, they KILLED the kid? I don't remember that.

I feel like I'm in the very small minority feeling the opposite way, but nonetheless: I haven't been feeling this season yet, and this episode really solidified it. I read what Zack writes about Peggy and Ed's motivations and deep inner turmoil, and I'm not seeing it on screen. I hear Ted Danson's character say

I for one find it difficult to understand why none of her supporters care that everything she says, every fact or statistic she cites, is completely made up.

Men like Jill Talley, Brett Paesel, Karen Kilgariff, and Becky Thyre!

Two WHOLE MINUTES underWATER!

So that explains all those missing cups! And us moving next door to a bakery!

That fucking dance he keeps doing outside the theater / club / awards show kills me.

Mr. Show had some incredible names for people— the ones that stand out to me the most were two of David's reporter characters, Yale Hadderity and Brink Flanks.

I have Comcast as well. Annoyance with having to re-log-in to FXNOW every two weeks aside, I don't think the provider is the problem.

"Lionel Richie and Buddy Christ with Worf's forehead" is way better than anything I came up with.

That's Ben Carson and Jesus? Not Lando Calrissian and Worf, wearing Jedi robes, drawn by someone who doesn't know the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars?

Weird. I watch old Simpsons episodes sometimes and I'm used to those breaks, but they're at the usual act break and only one commercial (or two tops). These were 4 commercials each time (including one for the show I was watching, which, what?) and they were incredibly frequent— probably six breaks, at least.

It's tough to generate a shitstorm on a weekend when Human Factual Error Ben Carson has so much going on.

Hopefully the degree of difference between a 10-6 team missing out to a team with the same record and a 10-6 team missing out to a team with a record that is three games worse against an easier schedule is clear.
