Worst movie you ever saw? Well, I promise the next one will be even better!

Americans for Trump 2016

"Hey, it's Stephen Jay Gould, not Stephen J. Gould! Well, technically it's both, but Stephen Jay Gould is what he uses professionally!"

Well, I suppose it is true that the basketball team is the jazziest thing about Utah.

oh, and here I was looking for something with "Bottle" in it.

Apologies for not finding an appropriate name comparison for Can.

It's moot now that the team is the Pelicans, but when the Hornets moved to New Orleans, I thought they should have made a three-way nickname trade, to get the Jazz from Utah, send the Hornets to Los Angeles, and let Utah become the Lakers.

To eat or to fight?

Flagged.

Yeah, Creed has made Pearl Jam a lot less popular in hindsight. Oddly enough, despite Nirvana and Pearl Jam having the two largest footholds in the culture, I feel like the next generation of bands primarily took their sounds from either Alice in Chains (your Staind, Godsmack, veering-into-nu-metal garbage) or Green

I haven't kept up with them— that album is from 1996, so even though it's post-hitmaking peak, it's still almost twenty years old.

Pearl Jam can be pretty underrated for putting out legitimately good music. (Ironically enough, this is because they didn't want to continue doing the same things that made them superstars from Ten and Vs.) No Code is my favorite album of theirs, diverse and heartfelt.

OK, this was too much fun and a great time-killer, so here's my list of choices. Some of these will be easy and/or nonsensical, because it's all about themes by name:

I really hope Brandin Cooks lighting it up last night wasn't just a preseason thing. We need a big year out of him.

Football
Hockey I guess but it's close
Summer Olympics
Literally anything else

Who Dat!

Also, if I'm being really snarky, the correct answer to "The Ramones or The Sex Pistols" is "The Clash."

The Ramones, the Mats, P-Funk, and Marvin Gaye. Gets closer as it goes down… I think the last two are too close to call.

I thought about picking a band that would have been an actual counterpoint, but the only answer I could think of was the Guided by Voices song "Gold Star for Robot Boy."

The Kinks
Public Enemy, not close, and I like De La but they're not arguably the most important hip-hop group of all time
B.B. King
Bowie
Pink Floyd
