This is a country of laws. Our freedoms exist because of those law are enforced, we can not pick and choose which laws we enforce to suit our current mood.

If they chose to not respect Federal law all Federal funding should be stripped from them and any city/state organizations who support their defiance.

You’re missing a big part of this. A 25 year old car is not going to be a DD for the person importing it. However if you could pick up a 2011 Chinese or Indian car for $3000 shipped to your door people would be all over them as daily drivers.

EE does not have the engineering design background to have objective input (like many of his videos). He listens to one of their engineers at VW and parrots their statements into a Youtube format with a drawing.
