I’m in Michigan so things are already crazy.

I looked and looked at every single insurer, they were all over $300 a month for someone middle aged with a spotless driving history.

Dude, tow it home.

You’d seriously try and drive that?

The force required to take those bolts out of compression and into shear is intense, way beyond the torque this thing is putting to the wheels.

The lug studs needed a bit of straightening

WUT?

Those are getting replaced.

You need to reconsider your gearhead status if you think that’s all that matters in an off road vehicle.

Because people get tired of them and buy Boxsters.

I sure hope BMW stays away from the carbon composite structure with this vehicle. I loved the i3 but due to the construction methods it was horrendously expensive to insure.

Sometimes technically “better” does not translate to the end consumer.

But where then would I fit in my virtue signaling?

The problem is that solar and on shore wind are peak time products. You need something to support the baseload over night and to meet demand peaks. We don’t have the geography for massive energy (water ) storage facilities so we’re still going to need on coal/NG/nuclear in the long term.

I don’t see the Musk style

Do you have any response to this?

The safest way to move oil is through a pipeline, this has been proven time and time again.

The oil is going to move whether you want it to or not, why not opt for the safest means possible?

Yep,

Ballaban can’t stomach writing anything but anti Trump propaganda.

Foxtrot was one of my favorites, not I can hardly read it because of his constant political avalanche.

I’ve done work there, the Ann Arbor lab is a joke. It’s a giant waste of taxpayer resources, they have no management driven motivation behind their research.

Houndstooth needs to be an option in more new German vehicles, it’s timeless.

That soundtrack!

It’s a higher spec 6 series, it’s Meh at best.

Man, you really need to move closer. I know it’s tough buy a commute over 20 min really starts to impact your quality of life not just your wallet.

I moved 5 miles / 10 min away from work this year and it honestly transformed my life.

I agree but there’s an application for all this even if you’re a driving purist.

I zigged when I should have zagged. I switched the month value for the weekly.

It’s ~5 hours a week not 20.

That puts the ROI at 125 weeks or 2.4 years.

The ROI on autonomous tech is very quick.

Spend your money where you spend your time, for the average Americans that’s 20 hours a week in the car commuting alone. If you value your time at $8 an hour you get your $5,000 back in 31 weeks

It’s a no brainer.
