You clearly don’t and have never owned one from this era.

Parts are cheap, BMW parts are significantly more expensive and you can google every single repair.

KBB prices don’t apply to classic cars, this is obvious..

Shit is on fire...let me stand up and drive...

It a race mode not designed for the street.

FCA maybe be the laughing stock of the Big 3 but their legal department is top notch.

Good job stealing the “candyass” from the top AN comment.

You’re looking through modern glasses, that’s not fair.

In ‘78 it was the oil crisis, emissions equipment was choking everything down. The SBC 350 in the Camaro was only making 175 hp on a good day. With a 100 less cubes your old I-6 is doing alright.

My ‘97 750il with the M73 V12 is only 2 valves per cylinder.

How did you make the illogical leap from lack of regulation to government subsidy?

Being the size of a shoe whist being physically isolated with no major city centers to draw talent hurts you more than lax regulation could ever help.

That’s like saying “WHY IS PORSCHE BUILDING A GT3? If people wanted a race car they would have bought one....”

People like factory cars with factory warranties not to mention preserving the resale value.

Remember modified cars go down in value not up. The Hellcat/Demon and to a lesser extent Trackhawk trio fit that

Look at getting the JR Rail Pass if you plan on seeing more than just Tokyo. It saved me about $500 over my 2 week trip. The shinkansen is not cheap, it’s almost like buying a puddle jumper plane ticket in the US.

The upgrade to green (first class) is not worth it. The normal seats are like flying first class.

That puts them at a long term competitive disadvantage, that sets them up to fail long term.

That’s not a good solution.

The fine plus investing in EV infrastructure is what America needs more than anything now. The jump to EV is going to happen so fast those emissions requirements for passenger cars (not truck) will

Humans are lazy, especially when there is zero accountability. AKA working for the Government.

Yes.

I know of at least two people in Japan buying them up cheap just for this reason.

AKA, These guys paid use this week.
