As long as Idris Elba isn't playing a pregnant, I'll be ok with it.

Disappointed Glenn Howerton wasn't mentioned as well. I can see him playing the shit out of some pompous noble. Guess they'll need to practice their English accents.

I also don't think people like to be reminded that there's a grey area when it comes to people, events, politics, national interest, etc. It's easier to be told what to feel for certain characters than make your own judgements, which is more in line with what this show does.

The final scene will show them fighting to the death for custody.

Apparently the Mail Robot is the FBI water cooler. Let's hope they can hear those revealing conversations over all that beeping. Let's face it, that plot was conjured up as a fan service.

My understanding was that Finch's plan would not have had a very high chance of success anyway, so The Machine shouldn't have been ok with it, even statistically speaking. Harold would receive the data on his device and then be killed momentarily.

Did it seem to anyone that Finch's plan would be in any way be successful in bringing down Samaritan? My understanding was that Beth's laptop would transmit some of Samaritan's "DNA" to Harold's device when activated, yet once he had it he would still need to weaponize it and somehow find a way to use it- meanwhile

No, but I sure won't be forgetting this anytime soon.

Humans on the other hand are open season.

That's true. Heck, I'll watch someone bowling their eyes out, just as long as I don't have to watch something like that again.

I must admit I was eyeing that kitchen draw intently when Philip turned his back to Martha and walked to the table. Not tonight.

I will watch a man being burned alive, I will watch a dead body being snapped and broken, I will watch a tooth being pulled out with a pair of pliers, I will watch a man get shot in the eye and choked to death. But for God's sake, please PLEASE don't make me watch a sweet elderly woman overdosing on her heart

I suppose if you take that leap of faith you can believe anything the writers throw at you. I guess some things are just less believable than others, and some things need to be explained better.

Yes, we've had a planned suicide attempt before- Caleb Fitz. Coincidentally, they brought him back in episode 16 as the head of the company Root is selling her app software algorithm to.

Even if Root became suspicious and acted on her own initiative, trying to kill Beth was still out of character. It's a non sequitur. Would Beth's work for some reason not go ahead if she was killed? Even if that were the case, what would stop Harold from persuing other similar ends if he didn't know why Beth was

I smell a sitcom!

Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Root trying to kill Beth was extremely contrived. It ruined the whole Root Finch plotline for me. Killing her was a radical conclusion to jump to, given she could have just stolen the device in the first place, soured their relationship, hacked, stolen the laptop,

She can catch my cab any time.

It wasn't that the timeline was reset, just that what followed was so anti-climatic. They could have done a good job of milking it for another episode, showing us slight differences in situations that happened last week, but instead they decided to focus on a different storyline altogether. I knew Captain Cold n' crew

If he no longer existed twice on the same timeline it would be an after-image, not because he was vibrating like Wells. Perhaps there are two Barrys there at the same time for a few seconds, who knows.
