He rejected their offer. At least Mad Max: Fury Road being as crazy and anime-esque and R-rated as it was gives me hope that WB can at least allow a certain level of craziness and R-rated-ness that can make Akira not a total disaster (now if they can only allow a non-whitewashed cast and somehow make the effects work,

At this point I'm mostly sad it's looking like his original film Can You Imagine is never happening (was it too similar to Inside Out or is Sony Animation just lame? Given they also canceled Lauren Faust's Medusa project and we've heard nothing about the progress of their announced collaboration with Frederator). I

Didn't they license a bunch of their backlog to Hulu?

They wanted it to sell toys. The problem was they couldn't get any toy company to agree to make an action robot that requires a girl to form, because girls and action figures can't mix, ew, cooties!

I have 12 days to raise funds for a short film I'm working on, an adaptation of HP Lovecraft's The Music of Erich Zann. Please contribute: https://www.seedandspark.co…

What does he go by when he's ranting about jet fuel and steel beams?

So Steven should be back in a few weeks (I'm bad and saw one of the episodes that's yet to air), but when's Adventure Time due to return?

Iron Blooded Orphans isn't UC (so should be easier for non-Gundam freaks to get into).

He just wants to see Honk If You're Horny in peace!

Though, if they use the flashbacks to SPOILER this season as an excuse to get Hodor to say "women's rights", all the awards to Beinoff and Weiss. I would not stop laughing.

It's 12 years old now, but Mind Game (now on Netflix) is probably the closest thing I can think of in the anime world in terms of artistic experimentation and graphic but not fap-material sexuality.

For me the key to getting into Utena was getting into some of the shows it inspired, mainly Steven Universe (so much imagery borrowed from Utena), Kill la Kill (similar crazy school anime tropes but more obviously tongue-in-cheek as opposed to Utena's weird comedy/seriousness balance), and Princess Tutu (which is sort

Sounds like a real Redgrin Grumboldt

Sanders is Samuel Seabury.

The three George songs are split up between Bill, Barrack, and Hillary.

Any idea how this might effect the movie? That's what I'm most worried about. CN's not going to uncermoniously kill off the show (season 8 seems like the perfect ending point) but I'd be disappointed if the movie's canceled and heartbroken if the movie turns into a huge bomb that kills off any future CN movies and

Technically TV-PG (CN seemingly gave up on pushing the limits of Y7 content and now gives most of their shows a blanket PG), but yeah, not the same demographic at all.

Viewers are liking it more, but it's not winning viewers back. All but 5 episodes of season 6 got over 1.5 million viewers on first airing. Only Stakes has managed that this season. This week's was actually the first new episode to have less than a million viewers in the show's history.

Stakes was the only time this season Adventure Time's gotten ratings on par with the average of the previous season. It kind of baffles me that it's fallen so far in just a year when season 7 by all means seems to be much more entertaining and accessible both to kids and fans than season 6 was.
