It occurred to me that might be mistaken for sincere. It wasn't - I'm not terrified of the Socialist Menace or Leftist Uprising, but I think it's hilarious that many(?) are.
And I initially thought the characterization was unfounded, like a lot of statements from people who demonize The Left and Socialists, but wow. Learn something every day!
