I liked Warfighter quite a bit. It was easily the most realisitc story for a modern shooter because it was loosely based on history. I will take a decent shooter with a Clancy-esque story over a blinged-out COD any day.

I bought this bundle for $6 and it is the only way I will ever buy digital crap for a game.

And it isnt as if the days when it might have been justifiable through needing to buy phyical copies meant the situation was any better. I remmeber opening the shipping box on Battlefield 2 and expecting the worst. That was the first game, for me, where it was clearly all downhill from there.

The transitions are the most beautiful part of this game. Dusk or just before sunrise can be particularly beautiful. I’m not a stop and look gamer but this often does make me stop.

Used to own one of those in drop point straight edge. Great knife but HEAVY. For that weight I’d rather carry my full-size Leatherman.

Fans of the Leek often overlook the (now discontinued) Kershaw Chill as a great, cheaper alternative. Drop point, G10 with steel, machined linings - it’s a great knife that can be found for $10-15 on ebay.

I tried to pass this on to a struggling family member looking to buy his first home. He came up with about every excuse imaginable to stop renting.

Even as a child of the 80’s, I’m over the whole Star Wars thing. So simply packaging a 40-player capped shooter in that universe is not enough to appeal to me. Shooters are holding my attention for maybe a few months before I move on. Even something like Titanfall, that at least tried something new, held my attention…

I hate to break it to Europeans but you can buy the best of everything here. You just won’t be buying it from the macros. Not from these huge, multi-national conglomerates that are apparently our national brands even when nobody actually consumes them outside of baking recipes.
