“I just sensed it was a trap.”

Imagine the reaction from these dimwitted wokies if an actor like Anthony Quinn was still around. According to them, he should have never played Italians, Greeks, Jews or Arabs because he was Mexican. Or that Omar Sharif, who was Egyptian, should have never played Italians, Greeks, Mexicans or a Russian like in Doctor

Trying to shame her for these things is ludicrous.

Is he at his other job as a sniper at a golf course?

I never tire of sharing that Beyonce’s song “Run the World (Girls)“ has a total of 7 songwriters, and the lyrics are 80% this:

I’m sure there is record company “math” that means the producer and label still make their money. And Ariana probably makes most of her money off touring not record sales. So the others have to divvy up 1/10th of 9 cents, let’s hope that’s not their only source of income.

I’d be interested to see what Ariana’s contribution to this or any other song was in regards to writing them.

All its missing is the Young Turks spending a good day blaming the establishment media for this....somehow.

I didn’t know how profoundly After Neverland was going to impact me. Really wish I hadn’t watched it. There was childhood sexual abuse in my family that I thought had been neatly tucked away but this film ripped that fucking wound right open. I doubt I’ll get a good night sleep for a long while.

So many questions:

“...that allegation was already well known to Amazon (and the public) before Amazon entered into four separate deals with Mr. Allen...”

He was actively looking for someone similar to the perpetrator to punish. The void Liam was trying to fill had nothing to do with race and everything to do with justice for his friend. I think we can all understand that.

Absolutely, and considering the demographic skew in favor of finding such people [white boys] lurking drunk in and about the pubs he haunted I believe he would likely be in jail for achieving his ends.

By this logic it’s never an actor’s story to tell.

There is a bit of pick a lane here. Either a Transwoman is the same as a real woman (so why would it matter who played who on film) or they are not (which goes against a lot of the other claims across the board)

This chick would lose her mind if she had to sit alone in a studio, in front of a canvas/laptop/workbench for few months and just make art. She would dissolve into nothingness in the absence of a throng of media and those who deign to take offense at her stunts.

Chastain was in the running for an Oscar nom for Molly’s Game. All the actresses were: Bening for Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool; Margot Robbie for I, Tonya; Diane Kruger for In the Fade; Saoirse Ronan for Lady Bird. So it was promotion for her film, just as all actors and actresses are required to attend the Oscar

The thing about the magazine cover is that Chastain was probably contractually obligated to appear on that cover: when an actor signs on to do a movie, they also sign on to do publicity for the movie. She could have been in breach of contract if she backed out.
