Me: Man, Thanos is the worst, we gotta find a way to reverse the snap

Hey, I never specified calendar year now did I.... (I will not be out-pedanted!)

At the risk of furthering my rep for pedantry, that’s technically a banner TWO years. Homecoming was summer of ‘17, Thor Ragnarok was November ‘17. But if we compare it to some of the middling movies from Phase 3 (Dr. Strange, GOTG 2) it’s obviously better than them, and holds its own against Ant-Man and The Wasp;

(1) You definitely have more expertise than I do on this issue!

Nobody said that, dumbass. Surely there’s another website where you can go just to get mad in the comments.

eh, a new building costs a couple mill, easy. $500,000 is a bargain in comparison.

I think “ne” was meant to be gender-neutral, which was very considerate, because I’m definitely not a “he”.

Right! This has become such a common trope in modern superhero media; it’s like the “I didn’t come here to make friends” of enhanced individuals, “I didn’t choose this”. So great to occasionally see someone who did choose it, who isn’t reluctant in their heroism.

He misspelled it twice, and I wanted to include both instances, which I bolded for your reading ease. You’re welcome. :)

I was not confused. :)

OK.

Misspelling the actress’s name multiple times detracts from the points you’re trying to make about her characterization. You’re welcome.

And no one suffers from this more than Bree Larson, an actress who can become anything you want, but doesn’t bring an automatic charm or charisma if you don’t like say, a Bruce Willis. Her entire character is a smirk and a listlessly delivered wisecrack. She doesn’t come across as a hardened soldier for the Kree

I did really like the way they handled this. As you say, it emphasizes that Carol’s heroism is intentional. It’s not inherited or thrust upon her, because she was already a hero; rather, it flows from her heroism, in the same way that Captain America’s powers flow from his.

OH SHIT WAS IT A FALSE FLAG?!?!?!

(1) Alita got a ton of coverage

INTERESTING. Almost makes up for their reluctance to adopt no-fault divorce....??

#yasssskweeen etc. etc.

Please, you know his wrinkled old ass has a million-page will that is *very* finely-tuned.

As a practical legal matter, who decided that this guy was an appropriate representative of the embryo’s estate? If there’s a real dispute between the parents, shouldn’t the embryo have a third-party guardian ad litem or something? Anyway fuck all these clowns.
