I want to know what Shailene Woodley has to say about all this. She’s allegedly a pretty politically progressive person (e.g. she was a vocal supporter of the Dakota Access Pipeline protesters) but is also quite woo-woo when it comes to medical stuff (daily sunbathing for her vagina), so I have no clue where she falls

To my knowledge there’s been zero long-term studies around sterility or fertility issues around the vaccine so that was definitely something I was worried about,””

To my knowledge there’s been zero long-term studies around whether the vaccine makes you swell up into a giant blueberry just like Violet Beauregarde so

Anna Faris is really amazing. She needs a better agent. An absolutely fearless actress. I don’t get shocked by scenes in films very often but she had one line in Observe and Report (Why you stopping?!”) that made me audibly gasp in the theater. She should be at the same level of Ryan Reynolds & Seth Rogen right now.

Sometimes I think inattentive or distracted driving is worse than an incident that happens with malicious intent. Driving a car is a process that requires constant attention. To do otherwise is effectively a conscious choice to drive badly and therefore criminal level negligence. And we write it off as a lesser evil

Agreed!! He’s trying to be funny and missed the mark by a mile. But it gives us a peek into his outlook on life and relationships and fucking YIKES. I mean how dated to joke that all you’re good for is opening a jar and also you might forget your wife’s birthday so she can just look back and read a dumb post on social

I saw some commenters on tik tok ripping him apart for trying to be Ryan Reynolds with this kind of humor about his wife and just falling so flat. Ryan and Blake have an actual fun/jokey relationship - this creeps me out.

Personally, I think its intentional. He’s a massive piece of shit and I believe 100%, he would say something like this on purpose. Allegedly, he wants ton of children, as all toxic Christians do, is being groomed for a political career, and again allegedly, left Anna after she had miscarriage.

This is my dad. He is extremely self-absorbed but has no malicious intent, he just doesn’t realize he is hurting people by only thinking of himself and how he is perceived.

This right here.

Chris Pratt is giving me major I’m-in-a-cult-vibe just like Tom Cruise and his Scientology crap. This whole post seems so weird? I get an appreciation post for the wife. That’s always nice but is it an appreciation post for her really? And why mention that you met in church? Weirdsville.

Here’s the thing. I don’t think Chris Pratt meant to intentionally imply that his daughter is somehow better than his son because of her relative health status. But the fact that he didn’t think at all about how that might impact his son or his son’s mom? And his kids apparently come after a baseball card? Again,

Yick, it does have that vibe. Plus the church bits.

“I love how much my wife loves me.”

I find it fascinating that for soooo long we were all told we weren’t allowed to judge Chris by the church he attends because it’s not like he’s talking about it a lot or anything.

Alright. Well, whatever!

Just listened to the behind the bastards podcast about the duggers. They are fucking vile vile cultists

Elon’s “prove to me in detail on Twitter how $6bn can solve world hunger oh wait you can’t” is certainly the most ignorant and disgusting thing he has ever done - it might be the most ignorant and disgusting (noncriminal) act ANY billionaire has ever done. And he is being wildly applauded for it! Truly depressing.

To paraphrase the Onion, I’m surprised they’re not blaming Meghan Markle.

He’s a small-town mayor with delusions of grandeur.

I really don’t like Pete as he just seems like an empty suit that just wants the next office. We need a real leader with real values that will help guide them through the fraught times we find ourselves. Basing every decision on whatever is going to help your short term polling numbers will not work.

Refocusing your eyes to see the sheen of PR — not as an aesthetic feature of this documentary, but as the text itself — will do wonders for your viewing experience.
